Google has updated its note-taking app ‘Google Keep’ for Android with the ability to view and create notes from you Android Wear smartwatches.
Starting Thursday, users will be able to view notes on their Android Wear smartwatch by tapping on Keep app from the app list or by saying voice-command “OK Google, open Keep”. Here, users can manually swipe up and down to browse through notes (may be the app will support flick wrist gesture for browsing, once the new Android Wear firmware ships), tap to view a particular note, or just tap the plus sign and speak to create a new note.
To take a new note though voice-command, users can further say “OK Google, take a note”, followed by dictating what they want the app to save. The Google Keep app can also add reminders to notes directly from the smartwatch, and it will support recurring reminders too.
Lastly, Google Keep for Android has also added the ability to add labels to notes in the app and on the Web. Google suggests users to keep labels like “Inspiration” and “To-dos” to never miss an idea or task.
